4. I was probably destined to be one of those tortured artist types who bleeds melancholy into their art which immortalizes them for all its poignancy (à la Dostoyevsky, Plath, Warhol, Winehouse). But, sadly, my relentlessly optimistic nature keeps getting in the way of my “artist experience.” C’est la vie.
